About Choti Choti Batain

Choti Choti Batain is not one story but six. HUM TV's 2019 anthology gives every arc its own writer, its own cast and its own quarrel with a stereotype Pakistani households long ago stopped questioning, with Angeline Malik directing all of them. Bandhan, Mujhay Tum Pasand Ho, Dil Hi Tou Hai, Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Wajah Tum Ho and Roop each run a few weeks, then reset completely. Dil Hi Tou Hai sets two families side by side, both built around a single parent, and asks what grown children owe a mother or father who still wants companionship of their own. The rotating roster reads like a HUM TV honour roll: Yumna Zaidi, Zahid Ahmed, Ushna Shah, Hina Dilpazeer, Atiqa Odho, Mariyam Nafees, Hajra Yamin and Osama Tahir among them, each handed a tight, self-contained story instead of a fifty-episode slow burn.
