About Dakaiti Mubarak
Dakaiti Mubarak turns a bungled robbery into an Eid comedy of errors. Sajid (Ali Rehman Khan) and his younger brother Majid (Umer Alam) are small-time thieves whose risks earn little money and less dignity. Desperate for a bigger score, they target the home of sisters Zara (Zoya Nasir) and Sara (Yashma Gill). Zara is consumed by her approaching wedding and dowry pressures, while Sara holds her own in a household of watchful relatives. The brothers expect an easy heist, only to find their target crowded with complications they never planned for. Writer Mohsin Ejaz builds the setup around clashing personalities, botched schemes, and criminals almost too lazy to rob anyone properly. Directed by Ahmad Hassan, the telefilm keeps the stakes playful as the would-be thieves stumble deeper into the domestic chaos they hoped to exploit. It is a breezy caper where every shortcut creates a fresh complication.
Editor’s Take
Umer Alam's comic timing gives this caper its quickest spark, and the ensemble throws itself into every absurd turn. We had fun watching two hopeless thieves make fresh trouble out of each simple move. Our one gripe? Mohsin Ejaz's script sometimes treats logic as optional, with a few gags feeling arranged rather than earned. Still, Ahmad Hassan keeps the chaos light and brisk. For an easy Eid watch, this robbery delivers more laughs than loot.
