Written by Abdil Khaaliq Khan, Kafir begins with Izzat (Ayesha Khan), a strong-willed young woman whose future seems settled when she falls in love with Azaan. That certainty cracks when she crosses paths with Shahan Ali Khan (Humayun Saeed), a man whose polished public face hides a cruel, controlling streak. His fixation turns Izzat's private happiness into a battle over dignity, truth and power, while the people around them struggle to recognize the danger behind Shahan's respectability.

Director Shahid Shafaat frames the 22-episode serial as a tense clash between moral courage and calculated malice.
