Kanpain Tang Rahi Hain is a breezy Eid comedy built around one household's runaway anxieties and its even bigger get-rich-quick dreams. The wife (Sahiba Afzal) is hooked on morning television and half convinced that her forever-busy husband (Aijaz Aslam) is hiding an affair, a suspicion that keeps the whole family on edge. The comic engine really kicks in when an eccentric old man in the neighborhood announces a prize of one crore rupees for the area's most deserving widow, and suddenly everyone's scheming points in the same greedy direction. With Hina Dilpazeer, Sami Khan, and Ali Tahir rounding out the ensemble, writer Mansoor Ahmed Khan leans into farce, mistaken suspicion, and the small absurdities of a middle-class family chasing an unlikely windfall. It is light, fast, and unapologetically silly, the kind of festival telefilm built to be watched with a full plate of Eid dessert in hand.
