About Karachi Se Lahore
Karachi Se Lahore turns a bruised ego into a lively cross-country scramble. Zaheem (Shehzad Sheikh), a frustrated Karachi banker used to being pushed around, discovers that his girlfriend is about to marry someone else in Lahore. Determined to stop the wedding, he squeezes into a bright green Volkswagen with his argumentative neighbour Maryam (Ayesha Omer), her younger brother Zeezo (Aashir Wajahat), and his chaotic friends Sam (Ahmed Ali Akbar) and Moti (Yasir Hussain). The highway becomes a comic pressure cooker, testing friendships and forcing Zaheem to find a backbone he has rarely shown. Written by Yasir Hussain and directed by Wajahat Rauf, the film mixes road-movie momentum with recognisably Pakistani banter, eccentric encounters, and a soundtrack built for the journey. Beneath the gags sits a simple, appealing question: can crossing the country help Zaheem finally take charge of his own life?

The friends crammed into that green Volkswagen give Karachi Se Lahore its best spark. Their bickering feels loose and lived-in, while Shehzad Sheikh brings an unexpectedly sympathetic edge to Zaheem and Noori's Do Dil gives the journey a genuine lift. Our gripe is the detour-heavy script: too many one-liners and broad stereotypes leave the story idling when it should race. Still, when the ensemble finds its rhythm, this road comedy is an amiably unruly ride.
