About Kashf

Kashf (Hira Mani) has spent her life treating her recurring dreams as private burdens, until the visions begin coming true with unnerving precision. In a cash-strapped household led by her evasive, opportunistic father Imtiaz (Waseem Abbas), her gift quickly stops belonging to her. Relatives and self-styled spiritual figures see a source of influence and income, while Kashf longs for an ordinary future with her steadfast fiance Wajdan (Junaid Khan). As warnings, family pressures and public curiosity close in, each fulfilled dream makes it harder for her to separate faith from fear, duty from exploitation, and love from possession. Written by Imran Nazeer and directed by Danish Nawaz, this spiritual family drama turns supernatural foresight into a painfully human trap. The story's mystery lies not only in what Kashf sees, but in what everyone around her wants those visions to become. Hira Mani anchors that tension with quiet resolve, making Kashf's battle for agency as compelling as the question of what her next dream might reveal.

Editor’s Take

Hira Mani makes Kashf's gift feel less like magic than a weight pressing against her ribs, and Danish Nawaz gives the dream sequences an eerie pull. We especially love how the spiritual mystery exposes greed dressed up as devotion. Our gripe is the late stretch, where repetition and increasingly cruel family politics dull the early freshness. Even then, Mani's wounded restraint and Junaid Khan's emotional charge keep us invested. A haunting idea, carried by performances that refuse to let it drift away.
