Main Khayal Hoon Kisi Aur Ka begins with Daniya (Hareem Farooq) and Zaryab (Ali Rehman), two young lovers already imagining a shared future. Their certainty fractures when Zaryab's adoptive family draws them into a painful triangle. Zaryab has grown up feeling indebted to the people who raised him, so he struggles to speak when his mother arranges Daniya's engagement to her own son, the UK-returned Armaan (Alamdar Khan), after his instant attraction to her.
