In a close-knit town, spirited Manahil "Mannu" (Maya Ali) and thoughtful Salahuddin (Hamza Ali Abbasi) fall for each other, but affection proves easier than courage. Salahuddin's modest circumstances make him retreat when marriage becomes real, and his choice sends Mannu toward Mikaal (Gohar Rasheed), a wealthy husband whose charm gives way to control and cruelty. As time and distance reshape both lives, Salahuddin builds a future in Karachi while Mannu fights to preserve her dignity and protect her children.
