Takabbur drops Muqaddas (Aiza Awan), an orphaned young woman with little money but a steady moral compass, into the imposing home of wealthy relatives. She arrives with her brother Maaz (Danial Afzal), relying on their uncle Aghaji while most of the household treats them as embarrassing outsiders. Aiman (Hiba Aziz) offers a rare measure of kindness, but class prejudice shadows every room. The real danger is Arez (Fahad Sheikh), a privileged, self-absorbed heir who mistakes attention for entitlement. Muqaddas's refusal to flatter him bruises his pride, turning a clash of temperaments into a tense struggle over dignity, power, and consequence. Written by Seema Munaf, the serial builds its world around the damage unchecked ego can do to vulnerable people and family bonds.
