About Masoom

Masoom follows Dilshad Faisalabadi (Imran Ashraf), a gifted village musician who arrives in Karachi with little beyond his voice and a stubborn dream of recognition. A rented room brings him into the orbit of Neelo (Sonya Hussyn), a spirited young woman drawn to his sincerity and raw talent. Their growing bond collides with her conservative father's expectations, while the composed, influential Wajdan (Mikaal Zulfiqar) offers the security Dilshad cannot. What begins as a tender romance soon becomes a test of ambition, loyalty and the choices people make when love must answer to family and social pressure. Barkat Siddiqui directs Content Line's story as an emotionally charged triangle, supported by Sidra Niazi, Waseem Abbas, Naveen Naqvi and Shaista Jabeen. The real pull is watching innocence harden under circumstance, as three lives are pushed toward competing ideas of duty, desire and a future worth fighting for.

Editor’s Take

Imran Ashraf gives Masoom its pulse, turning Dilshad's rustic sincerity and musical hunger into something bruised, restless and watchable. We only wish the surrounding drama trusted that performance more. The early storytelling feels stitched from competing tones, and the familiar romantic triangle can creak under its own conventions. Sonya Hussyn and Mikaal Zulfiqar complete a handsomely cast conflict, but Ashraf is the spark. When Masoom finds his frequency, it sings; when it doesn't, you feel every missed note.
