About Hassad

At the heart of Hassad is a household where affection becomes a source of rivalry. Naintara (Minal Khan) is kind-hearted and newly married to Armaan (Shehroze Sabzwari), the younger son who makes his devotion unmistakable. Their easy warmth throws a harsh light on the marriage of Armaan's elder brother Farhan (Noor Hassan) and Zareen (Arij Fatyma). Farhan is reserved and absorbed in his work, while Zareen longs for the tenderness she sees around her. Instead of confronting that loneliness, she turns her envy on Naintara, belittling her and quietly poisoning the family's peace.

With Sadiqa (Saba Faisal) presiding over the home, the two couples remain bound by loyalty, comparison, and simmering resentment. Then a tragedy unsettles the balance, giving Zareen's jealousy room to reshape every relationship around her. Written by Abida Ahmed and Maimoona Aziz, Hassad is a tense family melodrama about what happens when private insecurity is allowed to masquerade as grievance.

Arij Fatyma is Hassad's live wire, turning Zareen's jealousy into something sharper and more unsettling than a stock villain turn. Minal Khan gives Naintara a gentle counterweight, and the family pressure cooker rarely lets the tension cool. Our gripe? The serial piles on misery until its moral logic becomes murky, leaving talented performers trapped inside increasingly punishing twists. Messy, melodramatic, and frustrating, but Fatyma makes it hard to look away.
