Mehru (Ayeza Khan) is a kind-hearted woman from a middle-class family whose wedding day should begin a hopeful new chapter. Ayeza Khan gives Mehru a bruised dignity that holds the frame, while Sania Saeed and Rehan Sheikh make the family scenes feel tender and lived-in. We only wish the central romance generated the same spark: across 41 episodes, familiar turns and a dragging middle too often smother the urgency.
