About Mohlat

Mohlat centers on Nawera (Komal Aziz Khan), a gentle young woman whose family has treated her as unlucky since birth. Her kindness survives years of neglect, but life inside the household grows more painful as she falls for her cousin Dawar (Sami Khan), who is already devoted to her ambitious elder sister Maham (Kinza Hashmi). Maham values status over loyalty and has no hesitation in using Nawera as a shield when her own choices threaten to catch up with her. Their supportive sister Rida offers Nawera rare warmth, while the arrival of Essa (Usama Khan) shifts the family balance and opens another path through its tangled loyalties. Written by Samira Fazal, the serial turns sibling rivalry, gender discrimination, parental favoritism, and romantic betrayal into a charged family drama. Across 65 episodes, the cycle of accusation, sacrifice, and fresh cruelty spins longer than its emotional payoff can sustain. Still, Samira Fazal keeps the family pressure cooker bubbling, and the sisters' sharply opposed temperaments give this daily serial its addictive pull. Messy, melodramatic, and very hard to abandon.
