About Mumkin

Mumkin follows a young woman (Sara Khan) who grows up aching over an absent father, cushioned only by the fierce, unconditional love of the mother who raised her alone. Into that quietly bruised world walks a man from a far wealthier family (Junaid Khan), the devar of her closest friend, and an unlikely tenderness starts to grow between them. Their romance runs straight into the oldest obstacle in the book: class. His mother cannot stomach the match, and a cousin who has quietly staked his own claim on her is not about to step aside. Written by Sarwat Nazir and directed by Furqan Khan, this is a gentle, family-rooted love story about buried deception, second chances, and whether affection can survive the weight of everyone else's expectations. The supporting ensemble includes Sajid Hassan, Irsa Ghazal, Sadia Faisal, and Farah Shah.

Sara Khan and Junaid Khan are the reason to press play here, a pairing so easy and warm it turns a familiar class-divide romance into genuine comfort viewing, and Junaid finally gets to be tender instead of brooding. Our one gripe? Once the first ten episodes set the board, the middle sags into repeat trips through the same conflict before it finds its feet again. Still, the finale pulled the show's biggest audience, so the payoff clearly landed. Cozy, sincere, and worth the slow patches.
