About Neeli Kothi
When a young woman inherits an old, blue-walled mansion, she steps into far more than a change of address. Neeli Kothi follows her arrival at an estate heavy with unspoken history, where the past refuses to stay buried and every shuttered corridor seems to guard a secret. Anmol Baloch plays the heir whose quiet composure masks a growing unease, opposite Talha Chahour as the man whose connection to the house is never quite what it appears. Around them, Usman Peerzada and Atiqa Odho anchor a household where love, memory, and old betrayals bleed into one another. Written by Saima Akram Chaudhry, better known for warm comedies like Suno Chanda and Chupke Chupke, this is a deliberate turn toward mystery and mood, directed by Anjum Shahzad with a patient, atmospheric hand. It is a slow-burn gothic romance built on the things people choose not to say.
Editor’s Take
Anjum Shahzad shoots the mansion like a character in its own right, all inhabited silence and buried memory, and Anmol Baloch meets it with a stillness that reads as genuinely adult: she absorbs the strangeness instead of performing it. Our gripe? The storytelling too often mistakes vagueness for depth, hinting at relationships it never quite clarifies, and the languorous pace tests your patience. A handsome, moody watch that sometimes forgets to let us in.
