About Parchayee
Parchayee begins with a marriage that should promise a fresh start, yet leaves a daughter feeling pushed to the edge of her own family. When Saba (Sabreen Hisbani) remarries, her new responsibilities deepen the distance between her and Pari (Minal Khan), who reads every compromise as another abandonment. Pari finds tenderness with Saad (Hammad Farooqui), but their romance is tested by mistrust, family expectations, and the sort of misunderstandings that can turn affection into hurt overnight. Uzma Iftikhar's story places the couple inside a crowded household where elders, old wounds, and social pressure keep shaping private choices. Minal Khan gives Pari's loneliness a vulnerable center, while Sabreen Hisbani makes Saba's conflict more complicated than a simple clash between mother and daughter. For viewers who enjoy emotionally charged family dramas, Parchayee offers love, resentment, and responsibility tangled together across two generations.
Editor’s Take
The mother-daughter tension is Parchayee's sharpest hook, with Minal Khan and Sabreen Hisbani making every silence feel like a fresh accusation. We also like how the romance with Hammad Farooqui grows inside that bruised family dynamic instead of floating above it. Our one gripe? The story leans too readily on misunderstandings, and 30 episodes give familiar conflicts room to circle. Still, when the emotions land, this family drama leaves a shadow.
