About Ramz-e-Ishq

Ramz-e-Ishq follows Roshni (Hiba Bukhari), a dutiful young woman whose choices are repeatedly surrendered to family expectation. She loves her cousin Rayan (Mikaal Zulfiqar), but agrees to the marriage her parents choose. After her father dies unexpectedly, her estranged grandfather Hashmat Ali takes control of her future, cancelling the match and drawing her into an old family feud. Hoping to mend those fractures, Roshni accepts another sacrifice and marries Umar (Gohar Rasheed), the son of the household's munshi. Instead of finding security, the couple enters a home sharpened by class prejudice, resentment and manipulation. Roshni's aunt Safia and cousin Rania (Kiran Haq), who wants Rayan for herself, turn private grudges into a relentless test of loyalty. Written by Misbah Nausheen, the serial wraps a childhood romance inside a thorny family power struggle, asking how much obedience can cost before patience becomes surrender.
