Young lovers Sara (Kinza Hashmi) and Sultan (Shehzad Sheikh) are ready to marry, but bringing their families together proves harder than winning each other's hearts. Sara comes from an ultra-modern household, where her open-minded father and classically inclined mother expect her to remain close to city life. Sultan belongs to a warm but deeply traditional feudal family in Punjab, and neither side can imagine bending to the other's ways. What begins as a hopeful meeting soon becomes a lively clash of manners, expectations and stubborn parents. The couple must find a middle ground before family pride pulls them apart.
