About Samjhota

Samjhota begins with a house built around the devotion of businessman Waqar Ahmed (Javed Sheikh) and his wife Munazza (Saba Faisal). When loss leaves Waqar and their three children struggling to find their footing, the family urges him to marry again. Nargis (Shaista Lodhi), a divorced woman who has spent a decade on her own, enters the home with the promise of companionship and a fresh start. Yet the children who pressed for the match refuse to give their stepmother the dignity or place their mother held, leaving Waqar caught between grief, loyalty and a household sliding into conflict. Around this uneasy new family, Asad (Adeel Chaudhary), Zohaib (Ali Ansari) and Shanzey (Shazeal Shoukat) bring their own marriages, romances and expectations to the pressure cooker. Written by Rukhsana Nigar, Samjhota turns second chances into a thorny question: how much can a family compromise before love itself starts to feel conditional?
