About TALASH
Talash follows three newly graduated doctors from Karachi who travel to rural Tharparkar to establish a medical camp and confront the region's malnutrition crisis. Saleem (Ahmed Zeb), Tania (Fariya Hassan), and Khurrum (Noaman Sami) arrive with friendship, professional purpose, and feelings none of them can quite say aloud. When Khurrum leaves for his village promising to return within five days, his unexplained absence stretches into months. Saleem and Tania set out to find him, pushing deeper into a landscape shaped by poverty, stubborn traditions, and communities wary of outsiders. Written by Muhammad Nadeem Qureshi, the film folds social comedy and romance into a search story without treating its young doctors as instant saviors. The result is an earnest Pakistani road through friendship, duty, and quiet longing, carried by an appealing debut trio and the striking open country of interior Sindh. It is a modest adventure with serious questions beneath its warmth.
