About Tohmat
Past decisions have a way of collecting their debt from the wrong person, and in Tohmat that person is Aila (Nausheen Ibrahim). Her elder sister Naila (Momina Khan) is engaged to their cousin Sohail (Usman Patel), but she loves Ramish (Sohail Perzada), the only son of a wealthy woman with open contempt for the middle class. When the two of them settle it with a court marriage, the scandal shatters their father Rafiuddin (Tariq Jameel) and his household, and Naila is disowned. Before Aila can choose anything for herself, she is married off to Kamran Baig (Taifoor Khan), a wealthy man who turns cruel from the very first day. Har Pal Geo's family drama, written by Irfan Ahmed Shams and directed by Shafqat Moinuddin, follows both sisters as the price of one decision keeps coming due, with Sahir Ali Bagga and Maria Mir's title track carrying the ache.
