About Wafa

Wafa (Mansha Pasha) grows up inside a comfortable, well-liked family, right up until the morning her father Shakir Ahsaan dies without warning. What he leaves behind is debt, and a house days away from foreclosure. Selling off the family's assets does not come close to covering it. The largest creditor is Daniyal (Babar Ali), an old friend of her father who lent him twenty million rupees, and the way out he offers costs her everything: marry him in secret, and the loan disappears. Wafa gives up the man she loves and says yes. Around that bargain, this 20-episode Geo Entertainment serial builds a household squeezed from every side, a younger sister pushed toward a court marriage by in-laws demanding a dowry nobody can pay, and Saira (Nousheen Shah), a woman from Daniyal's past who reappears exactly when the marriage can least absorb her.
