Sherry (Muneeb Butt) returns from London to Karachi determined to marry his cousin Zenia (Hiba Bukhari), but their wedding plans land in a household already split by old rivalries and wildly different ideas about the pandemic. His mother Salma (Rubina Ashraf) treats every surface like a biohazard and insists on distancing, while the rest of the family chases a lavish celebration, dismisses restrictions and spins conspiracy theories. With wedding halls closing and an enormous guest list becoming harder to justify, Sherry and Zenia enlist their grandmother to keep the match on course. Written by Saba Hassan and directed by Furqan T. Siddiqui, Wedding Virus turns lockdown anxiety into a bright family comedy about love, pride and the irresistible urge to make a wedding bigger than common sense allows.
