The Story Behind O Re
“O Re” brought Noori’s own pop-rock spark to the finale of Coke Studio Pakistan Season 9. The band wrote, composed and performed the song, with Strings producing the session and Noori also serving as music director. Although presented as a new song in 2016, the tune had lived in Noori’s vault for years: Ali Hamza had been developing it for about eight years before its Coke Studio release.
