The Story Behind Khwaab Meray OST
Khwaab Meray is the title theme for Green TV's drama about Tania's pursuit of medicine and a romance tested by family secrets. Green TV released the official OST on 24 April 2026, billing Fahad Azeen and Sonia Khan as singers, Zaheer Zarf as lyricist, and Syed Adeel Ali of AD Studio as composer and producer. Irfan Mughal wrote the serial, and Barkat Ali Sidiki directed it. Alizeh Shah plays Tania, whose hopes for a medical career bring her close to Umair, played by Azfar Rehman. The broadcaster describes the song through broken dreams and silent prayers, a compact way of framing the gap between the future Tania wants and what her family history may allow.
Meaning & Translation
Khwaab Meray means "My Dreams" in Urdu. Khwaab names a dream or cherished hope, while meray makes it personal: these are the possibilities someone has imagined for their own life. Green TV introduces the OST with the ideas of broken dreams and silent prayers. That pairing gives the title a double pull. A dream can be something lost, yet the act of praying suggests the wish has not disappeared. Within the drama's story of ambition, romance and a hidden family connection, the phrase reaches beyond love alone. It can also speak to the struggle to protect an education, a chosen future and a sense of self when circumstances become uncertain.
