The Story Behind Meri Matti
Meri Matti is Farhan Saeed's 2023 theme for HUM TV's Jhok Sarkar, released as the drama introduced him as principled police officer ASP Arsalan. Adrian David Emmanuel composed the song, while Sibtain Khalid and Emmanuel wrote its words. Saeed described it as a tribute to the land and its many colours, a purpose that connects the soundtrack to Hashim Nadeem's story of duty under pressure in Jhok Sial. Saife Hassan directed the serial, where Arsalan confronts feudal power while trying to make the law meaningful.
