About Aatish

Asma (Hina Altaf) was left as a baby in the care of the household where her mother worked, and she grows up inside its walls with an uneasy double status: cherished by some as family, dismissed by others as hired help. Her days revolve around housework, faltering studies and the warm protection of the matriarch she calls Ammi. That fragile balance shifts when Naureen returns from America with her sons and plans a suitably grand marriage for her elder son. Younger son Sheheryar (Azfar Rehman) arrives with a teasing streak and little understanding of Asma's place in the house. Their first clashes spark an attachment neither expects, but affection across a class divide soon collides with pride, family expectations and Asma's fear that she will never truly belong. Written by Shagufta Bhatti, Aatish turns a bustling multigenerational home into the pressure cooker for a tender, combustible romance.

Hina Altaf gives Asma a bright, slightly chaotic pulse, and her prickly chemistry with Azfar Rehman turns a familiar class-divide romance into easy binge material. The soulful OST does half the emotional lighting. Our gripe? The setup leans hard on familiar household hierarchies, and Sheheryar's early swagger can feel pushed. Still, when the leads start sparring, Aatish catches fire. It is unabashed melodrama with a genuinely sticky romantic hook.
