About Bandish

Bandish turns a seemingly secure household into the stage for a chilling supernatural siege. Madiha (Marina Khan) and Junaid (Sajid Hasan) are raising three daughters when broken marriage proposals, frightening visions and unexplained attacks begin to fracture their family. Eldest daughter Sania (Hira Salman) becomes especially vulnerable just as Dr Abyaan (Mani) enters her life, while Hania (Zubab Rana) and young Aleena (Hoorain) face dangers that no ordinary explanation can settle. Behind the mounting terror is Sumbul (Farah Shah), a practitioner of black magic whose vendetta reaches deep into the household, aided by her sister Sandal (Zainab Ahmed). Written by Syed Nabeel and Shahid Nizami, the serial gives domestic anxiety a horror pulse: flickering lights, shaken rooms and poisoned trust all become weapons. Yet its real hook is the family's fight to stay united when fear makes everyone doubt what they see, what they believe and even one another.

Marina Khan anchors the panic with fierce maternal resolve, while Hoorain and Tasbeeha turn every supernatural jolt into something genuinely skin-crawling. Aabis Raza's eerie staging and the writers' unusually respectful women keep the chills from feeling hollow. Our one gripe? The final stretch could lose two episodes. Still, this is Pakistani television horror with a pulse, a point of view and real nerve.
