Bandish Season 2 returns to supernatural horror with a new family caught between everyday strains and a threat they cannot explain. Humaira (Sania Saeed), a widowed mother who has built her life around her children, worries as her cheerful daughter Manahil (Areej Mohiuddin) falls under the influence of black magic. Her son Sameer (Affan Waheed) is already battling a faltering business and tensions with those closest to him. At home, Sameer's wife Wania (Amna Ilyas) becomes increasingly alarmed when the same darkness closes in on their young daughter Hoorain (Hoorain Ikya Ali). Even Manahil's budding bond with neighbor Ahmer (Shuja Asad) is tested as fear and family resistance tighten around them. Written by Syed Nabeel and Shahid Nizami, the serial turns a familiar household into an uneasy battleground where love, jealousy, and resentment leave the door open to the supernatural. The horror too often retreats while the family drama stretches, blunting the chill that made the premise enticing. Still, Pakistani television rarely ventures this far into horror, and we will take an imperfect séance over another safe drawing-room feud.
