About Tu Ishq Hai

Tu Ishq Hai turns a seemingly straightforward marriage proposal into a volatile romantic tangle. Affan (Ali Kazmi) arrives as a prospective groom for the bold, self-assured Nazia (Sonia Mishal), but Nazia finds herself drawn instead to his younger brother Fawad (Faizan Khawaja). Fawad is already deeply in love with Amal (Kinza Hashmi), whose innocence comes with a firm, no-nonsense streak. Unwilling to step aside, Nazia begins testing loyalties and manipulating the people around her, even using prank calls and a mysterious admirer persona to get closer to Fawad. What follows is a family drama powered by competing desires, bruised pride and the dangerous belief that love can be won through sheer persistence. With two brothers caught inside one increasingly messy emotional triangle, the serial asks how far its characters will bend honesty, commitment and family expectations before affection turns into obsession.

Sonia Mishal gives this tangled romance its voltage, playing Nazia with enough swagger to make even her most outrageous maneuvers compulsively watchable. We love how the story lets a woman drive the chaos rather than merely react to it. Our one gripe? Her endlessly repeated oath of innocence becomes a tacky crutch when the performance needs no such help. Tu Ishq Hai works best when Nazia is allowed to be sharp, shameless and gloriously unpredictable.
