About Bhabhi Nazar Laga Dengi
In a lively family home, two brothers and their wives turn every stomach ache, crossed glance, and domestic mishap into proof that somebody has cast the evil eye. The most alarmed bhabhi (Hina Dilpazeer) reaches for dried chilies and kitchen remedies whenever trouble appears, while her sister-in-law (Asma Abbas) becomes the chief suspect in an escalating contest of suspicion. Their husbands (Khalid Anam and Behroz Sabzwari) are pulled into the squabbling as old insecurities turn ordinary family life into comic chaos. Amid the accusations, a gentler romance develops between the younger pair (Nawal Saeed and Nabeel Zuberi), giving the household another relationship to fuss over. Written by Hassan Imam and directed by Saqib Khan, Bhabhi Nazar Laga Dengi builds its comedy from a familiar cultural obsession with nazar, then lets an experienced ensemble sharpen every misunderstanding. It is a brisk, warmhearted telefilm about envy, affection, and how quickly superstition can make relatives see danger in one another.
Editor’s Take
Hina Dilpazeer and Asma Abbas make household superstition feel like a competitive sport, with every suspicious look and kitchen remedy adding another spark to their comic duel. We especially enjoy how the younger romance gives the family chaos a softer counterpoint. Our one gripe? The evil-eye misunderstandings can circle the same joke once too often, leaving the romantic thread waiting for space. Still, this is lively ensemble comedy with real festive snap: silly, familiar, and knowingly so.
