About Sukoon

Misbah Nausheen's Sukoon follows Aina (Sana Javed), a sheltered young woman whose trust in the charming but reckless Raza (Khaqan Shahnawaz) pulls her into a web of betrayal and family disgrace. When her carefully ordered world collapses, the composed and compassionate Hamdan (Ahsan Khan) becomes an unexpected source of safety. Their connection grows under the pressure of rigid expectations, bruised loyalties, and relatives who see marriage as a bargain rather than a refuge.

Director Siraj-ul-Haq frames the story as a glossy romantic melodrama, but its central question has real bite: what does peace look like after love has been used as a weapon?
