About Gunah
Malik Hayat Khan (Sarmad Khoosat) is used to having his authority accepted without question. Then his wife, Gul Noor (Juggun Kazim), disappears along with Ahmad, the young man who tutors their children. The village settles on a convenient explanation: the pair must have run away together. Newly appointed police officer Sabiha (Rabia Butt) refuses to treat gossip as evidence and begins probing the gaps in that story. Gul Noor's sister, Gul Meher (Saba Qamar), adds another layer to a household where desire and loyalty are dangerously entangled. Directed by Adnan Sarwar, this six-episode crime thriller follows an investigation through family secrets and unequal power, asking how far people will go to protect the version of love that suits them.
Editor’s Take
We're sold on Rabia Butt's Sabiha: a police officer who won't accept the story everyone else finds convenient. Her refusal to defer to Malik Hayat gives this mystery its bite, turning the search for answers into a contest over power. Our gripe is the rushed climax, which needs more breathing room for its revelations to land. Stay for the confrontation, even if the finish sprints past.
