About Jhooti

Jhooti follows Nirma (Iqra Aziz), a fiercely ambitious young woman from a middle-class family who believes wealth is the only escape from an ordinary life. She lies with startling confidence, bending every disagreement and family expectation toward whatever she wants. Her family pressures her to marry Nasir (Ahmed Ali Butt), a gentle neighborhood shopkeeper whose devotion cannot hide the modest future she resents. What begins as an uneasy marriage soon becomes a tense contest between affection, money and manipulation, with Nirma's relatives and Nasir's trusting parents repeatedly caught in her schemes.

The drama grows sharper when Ali (Yasir Hussain), a con man every bit as fluent in deception, enters Nirma's orbit. Has she finally met someone who can read her game?
