We love how Kashif Nisar's direction lets even side characters feel lived-in, turning Awais Ahmed's imagined town into a bustling world instead of a painted set. Our gripe is the destination: the ending leaves too many carefully planted threads dangling. Still, few dramas make social commentary this funny, strange and inviting.
