When ambitious, money-minded Adeel (Emmad Irfani) abruptly calls off his wedding to Sharjeena (Hania Aamir) after his wealthy boss proposes to him, Sharjeena refuses to be an object of pity. In a moment of wounded pride, she proposes instead to Adeel's younger brother Mustafa (Fahad Mustafa), an unemployed, happy-go-lucky charmer with no ambition but a steady moral compass. What begins as a face-saving arrangement between two complete opposites slowly turns into something neither of them expected. Across a cramped middle-class household, lingering doubts, family taunts, and a punishing money crunch, a real marriage quietly takes root.
