About Mere Humsafar

Raised in London and then left behind by her father at his family's home in Pakistan, Hala (Hania Aamir) is a gentle, sheltered young woman who arrives as an outsider in a house that has no warmth for her. Her aunt rules the household and treats her as a burden, denying her the respect and freedom everyone else takes for granted. Everything shifts when Hamza (Farhan Saeed), the family's son, returns from abroad, sees how Hala is being treated, and chooses to stand by her. Their marriage, born of his decency rather than convenience, becomes the quiet center of a home full of scheming relatives, jealousy, and whispered conspiracies. Written by Saira Raza and directed by Qasim Ali Mureed, Mere Humsafar is a warm, old-fashioned romance about dignity, belonging, and what it means to be truly protected by the person you love.
