In the winding lanes of old Lahore, Bubbly (Ushna Shah) knows exactly how much attention her beauty commands. Sunny (Imran Ashraf), a neighbour hopelessly devoted to her, imagines that persistence will win her heart, but Bubbly's life bends toward Feeka (Mohsin Abbas Haider), the man she is destined to marry. What begins with colour, flirtation and neighbourhood bustle tightens into a volatile story about marriage, pride and the damage jealousy can do when love turns possessive. Writer Zafar Mairaj gives the central triangle room to expose the difference between being admired and being understood, while Kashif Nisar's direction makes old Lahore feel inseparable from the drama. Ushna Shah brings spark and self-belief to Bubbly, with Imran Ashraf and Mohsin Abbas Haider pulling her between devotion, vulnerability and suspicion. Lashkara is a vivid romantic drama for viewers who like their love stories emotionally bruising, character-led and rooted in a richly observed community.

Our favourite thing about Lashkara is how its old Lahore lanes seem to breathe around the characters, giving every glance and family quarrel extra heat. Ushna Shah and Mohsin Abbas Haider make Bubbly and Feeka achingly believable, but Imran Ashraf's layered Sunny is the performance that keeps pulling focus. Our one gripe? The story occasionally asks that superb cast to carry more weight than the plotting. Still, Zafar Mairaj's character depth and Kashif Nisar's textured direction make this an overlooked gem.
