Zara (Hira Mani), a middle-class woman with an unshakable faith in love, wants a life with Asad (Junaid Khan), the affluent man who has chosen her. Their marriage should be a fresh beginning, but Asad's status-conscious mother, Tasneem (Atiqa Odho), sees Zara as an unacceptable match and refuses to let class lines blur. Determined to break the couple apart, Tasneem draws Rabeea (Zarnish Khan) into a calculated campaign of pressure and temptation. As Asad is pulled between his wife, his mother and Rabeea's growing influence, Zara must defend both her marriage and her sense of self against a family that treats affection like a social transaction.
