About Rah e Junoon

Shabrez (Danish Taimoor) is a wealthy young man hollowed out by years of parental neglect, and when we meet him he is standing at the very edge, ready to end his life. A passing stranger, Mehar (Komal Meer), talks him back from the brink, and in that single act of kindness he finds a reason to keep going. But gratitude soon curdles into something far more dangerous. Shabrez does not simply love Mehar; he becomes consumed by her, and his selfish, boundary-less devotion turns her quiet life upside down. What begins as a rescue slowly becomes a cage, as his passion blurs the line between love and possession. If there is one role Danish Taimoor can play in his sleep, it is the brooding obsessive lover, and Rah e Junoon hands him exactly that, title and all. His magnetism is real, and that monster premiere proves people showed up for him. Our gripe? He has done this exact intensity before, the central chemistry never quite catches fire, and Komal Meer is left a little stranded. One strictly for the Danish faithful.
